Sure Foot Pads
What do they do?
SURE FOOT Pads are foam pads of different density and shape that are placed under the horses's hooves. As the horse stands on the pads they bring about a new awareness and make him conscious of his habitual patterns of standing and moving. While the exact mechanism of how the pads bring about the observed changes is not completely understood, horses often exhibit relaxed behavior such as yawning, licking, chewing, stretching and "zoning out" while standing on the pads. SURE FOOT makes the horse aware of how he is standing, offers him comfort and offers him the opportunity to explore more efficient patterns of standing.
